Gregory “Greg” E. Selmek, 54 of Farmington Hills, MI, and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, February 27, 2016.  Born August 8, 1961, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Emil C. and Charlotte A. (Wolf) Selmek.  Greg was a 1980 graduate of Bedford High School and then received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Toledo in 1985.  He retired from Citi Bank in Ann Arbor as Assistant Vice President in IT in 2013.  Greg enjoyed gardening and traveling with friends.

He is survived by his loving siblings; Carroll (Gerilyn) Selmek, Janet Selmek, Martin Selmek and Marian (Paul) Schreiber; nieces, Emily and Amanda Schreiber ; nephews, Matthew and Evan Halsey.  Greg was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm, Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI, where he will lie in state after 12:00 noon.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
